Burning Man Looks Even Cooler From the Sky
Burning Man is an art festival and temporary community held annually in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert, and is attended by some 70,000 people each year. With such an attendance and a focus on the arts, the festival has been extensively documented in photos and video.
This year’s fest, though, saw a newcomer to the documentation scene: the drone.
These unmanned aircraft can fly high over the festival, capturing breathtaking views of the festival, from its crowds to the geometric layout of its structures and its large-scale sculptures. Pilot and cinematographer Eric Cheng brought his DJI Phantom 2 quadcopter this year, and we’re glad he did. Check out the stunning video below for a bird’s eye view of this unique festival.
You can learn about the details at Cheng’s website.
