Slap on the wrist: Fans react to NBA suspending World Peace
World Peace suspended for 7 games? Weak… The middle east has been suspending world peace for over 2000 years.

Instead of suspending Ron Artest, NBA should have punished him by forcing him to change name to Tonya Harding.

Fans expressed their disgust earlier in the week for Ron Artest (AKA Metta World Peace) when he violently elbowed Oklahoma City Thunder guard James Harden.
Commissioner David Stern barely gave Artest a slap on the wrist by suspending him for only seven games. Even though he’ll be forced to miss time in the playoffs, tweeters wanted Stern to lay the hammer down.
Ron Artest only got 7 games?? What a slap on the wrist for a repeat offender. He should be out for the rest of the season plus playoffs.

Metta World Peace given 7 game suspension for throwing his elbow at James Harden. They should have kicked him out of the NBA

I rarely comment on other pro athlete's behavior… But I detest Ron Artest. What a joke!!! That guy should be suspended for the season.

Ron Artest is a bitch and 7 games is not a long enough suspension.
